Hi! I’m Pippa

I write thrilling teen adventures set in Victorian London, and my debut novel - The Sign of the Raven - will be published in 2026!

I grew up in a misty old mill village in Derbyshire - the kind of place that is teeming with stories. I spent most of my childhood building dens and investigating mysteries like the characters in my favourite books, and then I spent four idyllic years studying English Literature in a medieval Scottish town by the sea. After university I moved to London, and instantly fell in love with this ancient and magical city. I’ve been fascinated by its hidden histories and secret corners ever since.

When I’m not writing novels you’ll find me waiting for the curtain to rise at one of London’s many theatres, dabbling in the occasional stage or screenplay, or hiking the spectacular Devon coastline.
